The session will begin with an overview of application requirements, program eligibility, and program parameters. The ICS team will be available afterwards to answer any questions you have about the program, preparing application materials, and finding internships in politics and public service. We encourage you to drop by for a few minutes or stay for the entire session!

The final Pizza and Politics of the semester will feature Ruth Buffalo, North Dakota State Representative. Representative Buffalo made history in the 2018 Midterm Elections as the first Native American Democratic woman to be elected to North Dakota’s legislature, defeating a four-term Republican incumbent. Facing an uphill battle in a race that disadvantaged some voters with restrictive voter ID laws, Representative Buffalo galvanized voters with a strong grassroots campaign that focused on the issues that were most pressing to her constitutents.
