  12. Politics, Potholes, and Public Service: A Conversation with Mayor Michael Nutter

    Friday September 28 - 12:00pm

    Join us for the inaugural Politics, Potholes and Public Service study group. This session will be led by IOP Visiting Fellow, Mayor Michael Nutter.

    Michael Nutter served as the 98th Mayor of the City of Philadelphia. Mayor Nutter is a past President of the United States Conference of Mayors as well as the Pennsylvania Municipal League. In January 2018, the Department of Homeland Security appointed him to the Homeland Security Advisory Council. He also serves on President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper Advisory Council. While at the IOP, Mayor Nutter will remain the David N. Dinkins Professor of Professional Practice in Urban and Public Affairs a Professor of Professional Practice at Columbia University.
