  4. IOP Summer Stipend Info Session

    Wednesday April 22 - 5:00pm

    Join the IOP Internships & Career Services team on Wednesday, April 22 at 5:00 PM EST via Zoom to learn more about the IOP Summer Stipend Program and answer any questions you may have about finding remote summer internship opportunities in politics and public service and completing the IOP Summer Stipend application.

  5. Director's Internship Round 2: Office Hours

    Friday February 21 - 2:00pm

    The first round of the Director's Internship application closed on Sunday, February 2 at 11:59 PM EST. These applications are being processed. We are accepting applications to a smaller subset of organizations from Friday, February 14 through Monday, February 24

    Students may only submit 1 application to Round 2 of the 2020 Director's Internship Program. Students who applied to the 2020 Director's Internship Program prior to Sunday, Feburary 5, 2020 (Round 1) are still eligible to submit one additional application. 

    Eligibility: All Harvard College undergraduates who are returning to campus in Fall 2020 may apply. Former Director's Interns are not eligible to apply.

    Office Hours: Friday, February 21 from 2-3 PM at the Institute of Politics (L-166)

    Application Deadline: Monday, February 24 at 11:59 PM EST

    • Osaremen Okolo (College '17) is the Senior Health Policy Advisor for the Office of Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL-09)

  9. Mobilization 101: A Technology and Democracy Workshop with When We All Vote’s Laura Miller

    Thursday October 24 - 6:00pm

    Join the Ash Center, Institute of Politics, and Harvard Votes Challenge for a workshop hosted by Laura Miller, Mobilization Director at When We All Vote and 2019-20 Technology and Democracy Fellow at the Ash Center. Laura's experience working on digital campaign from the Obama White House to March for Our Lives will inform this unique training on how to create a mobilization strategy that inspires people from all walks of life to engage in a democracy.

    Have a passion for research? Want to learn more about working at think tanks? Come to this discussion with Ryan Berg, a research fellow at the American Enterprise Institute who focuses on topics including transnational organized crime, narco trafficking, and illicit networks. Dr. Berg will speak about his research experience and help you understand what it's like to work at a think tank. This event is co-sponsored by the Alexander Hamilton Society, IOP Policy Program, and IOP Internships and Career Services.

  12. Chose Your Own Adventure! | On the Campaign Trail

    Thursday October 3 - 6:30pm

    Join the Choose Your Own Adventure series to learn about campaigns – how to get on them and what working on one actually looks and feels like. Learn from three undergraduates: Teddy Landis (Warren 2020), Shreeya Panigrahi (Buttigieg 2020), and Damian Richardson (Harris 2020) who worked on three different democratic primary campaigns this past summer. They'll talk about their own experiences and help you figure out if campaign life is right for you!
