Study Group with Secretary Natalie Tennant: What is the Independent State Legislature Theory and How Dangerous is it to Our Democracy?

Is the Independent State Legislature Theory a threat to free, accurate, and fair elections? This notion questions whether a state court has the power to reject laws adopted by a state legislature concerning federal elections. Or is it solely up to state lawmakers?

The US Supreme Court takes up this question this year. Join Natalie Tennant as she discusses this concept with election law attorney and Harvard Law School graduate Eliza Sweren-Becker.
