Description: This past year, candidates of color along with communities of color put pressure on the campaign trail for a wider swatch of issues to be covered such as maternal mortality, immigration, criminal justice reform, and the racial wealth gap, among others. We will discuss the implications of the lack of media coverage on these issues and what it means moving forward.
