Study Group with Governor Matt Mead: Rule of Law

Lincoln suggested that the rule of law and the Constitution should be the “political religion” of our country. Was what transpired at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021 a harbinger of what we may expect with future elections? Some candidates are now claiming elections are rigged, or going to be rigged, even before an election has actually taken place and then afterwards (despite court rulings), if they lose, refuse to accept the election results. Are we still a nation respectful of the rule of law? I am hoping to have a currently serving Congressman come to discuss what transpired on January 6th at the Capitol and the ramifications that event continues to have on our country.

Governor Mead will be joined via Zoom by Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming
