Guest speaker Brian Kelly, Nixon Peabody, LLP. 

 

Kelly recently prosecuted James "Whitey" Bulger who was charged with racketeering and murdering 19 people.

Kelly will discuss the case against Bulger as well as the effect the case had on South Boston and the city as a whole. We will further discuss the effects corruption plays in the political process and how important a role the US attorney's office performs  in prosecuting and preventing corruption in political systems.
