4. March 27, 2014 – The Role of the Courts in Holding Officials Accountable and the Role of the Media in Promoting Understanding of the Courts: The FBI and James "Whitey" Bulger.

The guest speakers will be reporters Kevin Cullen of the Boston Globe, who wrote a best selling book on Bulger, and David Boeri of WBUR. The session will draw on Judge Wolf's experience in conducting nine months of hearings and writing a 661-page decision describing the corrupt relationship between Bulger and the FBI, including the complicity of FBI agents in murder. It will also explore the interdependence of the courts and the media in holding public officials, including judges, accountable.
