Grassroots Engagement in the Political Process and Elections
We will be talking about presidential elections and the changing dynamics of grassroots organizing; what it means to engage voters not just in a campaign but to empower them and give them a voice in our government and its policy development. They will also talk about the power and strength behind President Obama’s 2008 and 2012 victories – the first time voter and the engaged electorate.
