Guest (via Skype): Cory Booker, US Senator (D-NJ)

Our final study group will be a skype discussion with US Senator Cory Booker. Sen. Booker is the first African American to represent New Jersey in the US Senate and one of only nine African Americans to serve in the US Senate. He will share his experiences on the campaigns trail as a "first". He will also discuss the realities of serving in a governmental body that is very homogeneous.

Sen. Booker is a rockstar in the Democratic Party - you won't want to miss an opportunity to have an intimate conversation with the him.
