2023

My name is Victor Flores and I am the Co-Chair for the Fellows and Study Group Program. I am a member of the class of 2023 in Currier House, studying Government on the Public Policy Track with a certificate in Latin American Studies. Originally from the small, rural town of North Canaan, Connecticut, I joined the IOP my very first semester as a liaison to Isabel Saint Malo, Former Vice President of Panama. I continued to serve in the FSG program as Co-Director of Community Engagement and Chair of the Search Committee while liaising for Mark Harvey, Former Special Assistant to the President, and Chasten Buttigieg, LGBTQ+ activist, and author. Additionally, I am a member of HPU and PRE, a citizenship tutor for Harvard custodial staff through CitTut, and a former Fellow through the MA Black and Latino Legislative Caucus Fellowship. Outside of the IOP, I am the Political Advocacy Chair for Concilio Latino, one of the pan-Latinx organizations on campus, a member of the TPS Coalition, the former College Representative for the Central American Student Association, and former Treasurer for the Harvard College Democrats. Recognizing that I myself am a FGLI student and first-generation American, I want to make sure I connect students with the same life-changing opportunities that FSG has provided me. Be sure to talk to me about anything FSG, Harvard, politics, Bad Bunny, or hiking related.
