Tucker Coombs

John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum Chair

My name is Tucker Coombs, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2028) from Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, in Leverett House, studying Government and History. I serve as Co-Chair of the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum, which plans and operates speaker events that highlight perspectives from distinguished leaders in politics, public service, and global affairs. Over the next year, I look forward to bringing more faces from diverse backgrounds and belief systems to the Forum, maintaining its commitment to hosting candid, nonpartisan dialogue, and introducing students to our world’s current, former, and emerging leaders.

I also serve as a member of the Fellows and Study Group Program, where I have served as Chief of Staff to Governor Eric Holcomb and as a student liaison. I previously worked as a researcher with the Policy Program. Outside of academic and extracurricular activities, I enjoy cheering on the UNC Tar Heels, golfing, and spending time with my two-year-old golden retriever, Tilly.
