Sydney Massey

Women's Initative in Leadership

My name is Sydney Massey, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2027) from Little Rock, Arkansas in Winthrop House. I am studying Government with a secondary in Environmental Science and Public Policy. I have the pleasure to serve as the Chair of Women's Initiative in Leadership, which invites students to connect with inspiring women who are leaders in a wide array of fields in order to create an empowering and supportive community on campus.

Over the next year, I am looking forward to developing a strong network of women in leadership between students and speakers, as well as strengthening relationships between WIL and other organizations across Harvard through WIL-sponsored events. I am also a part of the Fellows and Study Groups Program, and was previously Chief of Staff for Fellow Asa Hutchinson.

Outside of the IOP, I am Chair of Intercollegiate Business Convention for Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business, and Communications Chair for Winthrop House Committee. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going for walks, curating Pinterest boards, and continuing my search for the best matcha latte.
