Swathi is a Class of 2021 Eliot House resident originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She is concentrating in Social Studies and History of Science with a focus field in public health and a secondary in Neurobiology. Passionate about international human rights, global health, and public interest, Swathi has interned in the United Nations Joint Programme for HIV/AIDS, and has deep involvement in research on both the opioid epidemic and Alzheimer's disease. Before serving as Co-Chair of the Policy Program, Swathi co-chaired the Tech/Innovations Policy Group for one semester. Outside the Institute of Politics, Swathi is a Peer Advising Fellow, a course assistant for Life Science 1a, a teacher in Peer Health Exchange in PBHA, an Associate for the Harvard College Consulting Group, and a photographer/dancer in Ghungroo. Her interests include listening to vinyl, watching romcoms with friends, and going into downtown Boston.
