Susie Coakley
My name is Susie Coakley, and I am a freshman (Class of 2029) from Elm Grove, Wisconsin in Mower studying Government and Economics. I am delighted to be the co-chair of The Citizenship Tutoring Program (Cit Tut), a program dedicated to providing tutoring services to Harvard-affiliated employees and members of the Greater Boston community as they navigate the citizenship process.
Over the next year, I am looking forward to strengthening CitTut's impact in the Boston and Cambridge community by building stronger partnerships, expanding our capacity to serve, and deepening the meaningful connections between our tutors and tutees.
In addition to Citizenship Tutoring, I also participate in the Fellows and Study Groups Program and serve on the Fellows Search Committee, and I previously was involved with the Policy Program and the Research & Strategy Program. Outside of the IOP, I am a volunteer with the Small Claims Advisory Service, a Legislative Fellow with Harvard Dems, and a working group leader with Amnesty International. In my free time, I like to try new recipes, play pickleball, and taste-test my way through every matcha latte Boston has to offer.
