Sunny Vo

Politics of Race & Ethnicity (PRE) Chair

My name is Sunny, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2028) from Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I live in Pforzheimer House and am studying Social Studies and Economics. I am the Co-Chair of the Politics of Race and Ethnicity (PRE) program, a space dedicated to fostering awareness and action at the intersection of race, identity, and politics.

Over the next year, I am excited to bring more nuanced and contemporary conversations to PRE—fostering understanding of the fast-paced changes shaping policy, technology, work, and culture through PRE’s intersectional framework. I also hope to strengthen PRE’s engagement with the broader community through our service partnerships with local organizations.

Beyond the IOP, I serve as Managing Editor of the Harvard Review of Philosophy; conduct econometrics research as a Radcliffe Research Partner and with the Charles River Economics Lab; take air and lead design and marketing for WHRB; and am a member of The Harvard Advocate Art Board. In my free time, I love to watch movies, discover new music, and search for the best café in the area.
