Sarp Nalbantoglu

Coalition for Global Affairs

My name is Sarp Nalbantoğlu, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2027) from Istanbul, Turkey in Cabot House studying Social Studies and Economics. I am the Co-Chair of the Coalition for Global Affairs, which brings together students from around the world who are passionate about international relations with experts and professionals in the field, organizing talks and events that foster a supportive campus environment for diplomacy and global politics.

Over the next year, I look forward to hosting esteemed guests for our Diplomatic Dialogues and World Stage series, while also innovating new program ideas to provide our members with valuable experiences and pre-professional support. I previously was a member of the Campaigns and Advocacy program and was a student liaison in the Fellows and Study Groups program.

Outside of the IOP, I am a student researcher at the Radcliffe Institute, serve as the Treasurer at the Harvard Review of Philosophy, and volunteer for the Small Claims Advisory Service. In my free time, I like to read, write short stories and plays, and windsurf.
