Women's Initiative in Leadership

My name is Saba Mehrzad, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2025) from Long Island, New York in Pforzheimer House, studying Computer Science and Government. I am the Chair of the Women’s Initiative in Leadership Program, which brings together women in order to develop leadership skills through speakers, discussions, and seminars. I am extremely passionate about WIL’s mission to increase women’s representation in leadership positions.

In 2020, I founded my organization, iFeminist, in order to highlight unknown and underrepresented women in history and provide young women role models. Today, I lead over 275 students from 27 US states and 25 countries.

Additionally, I am Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business Association’s Innovation Director, President of the Harvard College Iranian Association, and a member of Pear VC’s Garage Program. In my free time, I like reading romance novels, going to hot pilates, and watching movies with friends.
