My name is Saba Mehrzad, and I am a junior (Class of 2025) from Long Island, NY, studying Government (Data Science) and Computer Science. I am very excited to be the Treasurer of the IOP and work to make public service opportunities more accessible to all, while ensuring that the IOP's wonderful programs are run smoothly. Over the next year, I am looking forward to expanding the IOP's role in the summer experience of students, conducting summer housing matches and introducing career fairs, while also promoting FUN at the IOP through retreats, social events, and training programs.

In the IOP, I served as Chair of the Women's Initiative in Leadership, where I organized weekly speaking engagements with women in leadership, including Politico CEO Goli Sheikholeslami, Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, and CNN Correspondent Abby Phillip. Outside of the IOP, I am the President of the Harvard Undergraduate Iranian Association, a Research Assistant at the Harvard Law School Berkman Klein Center, and an Intern at Higher Ground Labs. In my free time, I like to read, go to hot pilates, DJ, and try out new restaurants with friends.
