Rhea Maniar

I'm Rhea Maniar, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2028) in Leverett House from sunny Orlando, Florida studying Social Studies with a Secondary in Education and a language citation in Spanish. I am a Co-Chair of CIVICS, which brings civic education into elementary school classrooms in the Boston area. Over the next year, I'm excited to expand our reach into even more Boston and Cambridge public school classrooms and deliver high-quality instruction from prepared undergraduate students.

Previously, I served as the Organizing Director of Harvard Votes Challenge and the Curriculum Co-Chair of CIVICS. Outside of the IOP, I am a Peer Advising Fellow and a mentor at the Radcliffe Institute's Emerging Leaders Program. In my free time, I love to explore new cafes and volunteer at an after school program for high school students in the South End.
