My name is Pratyush Mallick, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2025) from Wylie, Texas in Cabot House pursuing a joint concentration in government and computer science. After leading Get Out the Vote efforts at Harvard as co-chair of Harvard Votes Challenge in 2022, I am honored to serve as vice president of the Institute of Politics for 2023.
My pathway to public service has been guided by my passion for technology as a mechanism for good governance and democracy. This background has led me to pursue interests in developing civic infrastructure, mobilizing voters, and building the future of government and civic technology. I am an active member of the Harvard Votes Challenge and Harvard Public Opinion Project and was previously a member of Citizenship Tutoring, the Policy Program, and the Politics of Race and Ethnicity Program. Outside of the IOP, I serve as vice president of the Harvard Texas Club and I am also a Senior PM for Harvard Product Lab and a member of SAA (South Asian Association) and TAPAS (Task Force for Asian American Progressive Advocacy and Studies). In my free time, you can find me hunting for the newest Boston coffee spots, watching college football, and practicing calligraphy.
