Nuriel Vera-DeGraff

Campaigns and Advocacy Program

My name is Nuriel, and I'm a sophomore (Class of 2026) from Cambridge, Massachusetts in Mather studying Math and Social Studies. I'm the chair of the Campaigns and Advocacy Program, which seeks to educate students about the intricacies, political campaigns and advocacy initiatives. In 2024, I'm looking forward to highlighting aspects of local Cambridge-area campaigns as well as emphasizing the more technical aspects of a candidacy. I also serve on the Harvard Public Opinion Project and the Harvard Votes Challenge. Outside of the IOP, I'm a math course assistant and have a bi-weekly show on the Harvard Radio Broadcasting (WHRB). In my free time, I enjoy distance running, playing chess and Clash Royale, listening to music, and spending time with friends.
