Women's Initative in Leadership

My name is Morgan Byers, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2026) originally from Athens, Georgia in Pforzheimer House studying Human Developmental & Regenerative Biology and Government. I am absolutely thrilled to be the Chair of the Women's Initiative in Leadership (WIL), which empowers woman-identifying students in the Harvard community by connecting them with a network of accomplished women from a diverse range of backgrounds and interests. This year, I am looking forward to strengthening WIL's relationship with both our Harvard and local community by creating public service opportunities for our members and WIL-sponsored events for the broader IOP. I was previously the chair of the IOP's Conferences Committee and a member of CIVICS. Outside of the IOP, I am an EMT with CrimsonEMS, a mentor with Harvard Radcliffe Institute's Emerging Leaders Program, a tour guide for the Harvard Admissions Office, and a member of Harvard Model Congress. When I get a spare moment, you can find me on a long walk by the Charles, laughing with friends in the Pfoho dining hall, or watching my favorite romantic comedies!
