Director of Career Services

My name is Liz Benecchi, and I am a junior (Class of 2025) from Marietta, Georgia. On campus, I call Adams House home, and I study Government on the Law and Justice track, with a citation in Spanish. As the Director of Career Services at the IOP, I bring students, staff, and alumni together to pioneer initiatives for securing funding, fostering professional development, and creating diverse student employment opportunities. Over the next year, I look forward to putting a renewed, comprehensive focus on post-graduate job attainment for students. I also hope to expand term-time internship opportunities and add additional host organizations to our Director's Internship program to cover more diverse interest areas.

At the IOP, I am also involved in the Harvard Public Opinion Project and Harvard Votes Challenge, and I have written for the Harvard Political Review. Last year, I served as Chair for the IOP's Fellows and Study Groups Program. Outside the IOP, I am a part of Harvard's Women in Business club, serve as a Government Faculty Research Assistant, and work in Communications for a Georgia Congressional race. In my free time, I like to take barre classes with my friends and read, a passion which has led me to work on campus at Widener Library!
