Lily O'Donoghue-McDonald

Harvard Votes Challenge & Athlete Coalition

My name is Lily O'Donoghue-McDonald, and I am a junior (Class of 2026) from Seattle, Washington in Dunster House pursuing a double concentration in History & Literature and Government! I am the Co-Chair of Harvard Votes Challenge which is our undergraduate, non-partisan Get Out the Vote organization. In a non-election year, I am excited for the organization to place more emphasis on civic education initiatives and Cambridge community outreach!

I am also the chair of the Athlete Coalition this year, a cohort of student-athletes working at the intersection of athletics and public service. I look forward to connecting athletic teams to both service and career opportunities, as well as tailoring IOP programming to student-athlete needs and interests.

I have been dedicated to HVC all three of my years at Harvard, previously serving as Communications Director. Outside of the IOP, I am a student-athlete on the Harvard Cross-Country and Track & Field Teams and work as a Communications Intern with Harvard College. In my free time, I like to read and spend time with friends and family, especially my six nieces and nephews!
