Kevin Bokoum
My name is Kevin Bokoum, I am a junior (Class of 2026) from Hagerstown, Maryland studying Social Studies and Economics. I am honored to serve as Treasurer of the IOP. I am deeply committed to making public service accessible for everyone by breaking down financial barriers and expanding the IOP's reach and impact.
Over the next year, I am looking forward to increasing the IOP's summer offerings by fostering meaningful internship connections, building career partnerships, and engaging with IOP alumni. Additionally, I plan to strengthen our community through retreats, social events, and roundtables, while creating spaces for collaboration and professional growth.
I previously served as Co-Chair of the IOP-PBHA CIVICS program, which sends motivated undergraduates to teach government and civics in Boston and Cambridge public schools. More recently, I served as the inaugural Director of Internal Affairs for the IOP, where I ensured the implementation of key priorities and improved our operational efficiency. Beyond these roles, I've led an Education-focused case team in Research & Strategy Group (RSG), served as a Chief of Staff for Fellows and Study Groups (FSG), and participated in Politics of Race & Ethnicity (PRE), Citizenship Tutoring, and the Harvard Votes Challenge (HVC).
Outside the IOP, I enjoy volunteering, traveling with friends, and reading up on the latest headlines. In my free time, you can often find me watching Netflix or reading a great book!
