Jordan Schwartz

Director of Internship and Career Services (DCS)

My name is Jordan Schwartz, and I am a junior (Class of 2027) in Currier House from Alliance, Ohio studying Government and Economics. This year, I am serving as the IOP's Director of Internships and Career Services, overseeing job preparation and career help for students at the IOP via coffee chats with visiting speakers, summer and term time internship funding, the mentorship program, and so much more!

Over the next year, I am looking forward to strengthening the IOP's alumni network, connecting students to internship opportunities across the full range of politics and public service jobs, and continuing the successful mentorship program started last year.

I previously chaired the Harvard Public Opinion Project, which runs the flagship poll on the political opinions and civic attitudes of young Americans ages 18-29, in 2025, and co-chaired the Harvard Votes Challenge to get out the vote in 2024. I've also been involved in a number of other IOP programs and coalitions as well, including FSG, CAP, and the HPU. Outside of the IOP, I am involved with the Harvard College Democrats, Harvard Model Congress, Currier House Committee, and a wide range of intramural sports. In my free time, I like to run, hike, travel, read, and overanalyze recent polls.
