Jordan Schwartz
My name is Jordan Schwartz, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2027) from Alliance, Ohio living in Currier House studying Government. I serve as the Chair of the Harvard Public Opinion Project (HPOP), which runs the flagship Harvard Youth Poll, the premier survey on the political opinions and civic attitudes of young Americans ages 18-29.
In the coming year, I look forward to expanding the scope of HPOP's qualitative research and establishing our brand nationally by engaging with a range of stakeholders across both sides of partisan politics, nonpartisan civic engagement work, and the media.
I previously co-chaired the Harvard Votes Challenge through the 2024 election, working to get out the vote on campus and beyond, and I’m involved in a number of other IOP programs and coalitions as well. Outside of the IOP, I am involved with the Harvard College Democrats and help staff Harvard Model Congress. In my free time, I like to run, hike, travel, read, and overanalyze recent polls.
