Politics of Race and Ethnicity

My name is Ife Adedokun, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2025) from Queens, New York in Kirkland House studying Government and History. I am the Co-Chair of PRE which aims to center race and ethnicity in the realm of politics and provide students with a safe space to talk about these issues. Over the next year I am looking forward to working with other IOP groups and affinity groups on campus to include more people in defining other marginalized identities that affect the way in which people engage with politics. I was previously a Journal Liaison for Mayor Janey under FSG. Outside of the IOP, I am a a Research Fellow for the Radcliffe Research Institute, a part of the NSA and Soulfood board, and am apart of different dance groups on campus. In my free time I like to dance, play guitar and listen to showtunes.
