Elijah Christopher DeVaughn, Jr (a.k.a. EJayy) hails from Compton, California. He is a God-fearing man who defines himself as a storyteller. Since joining the IOP his freshman year, Elijah has served as a liaison for both Symone Sanders and Brittany Packnett. Currently a member of the class of 2021, Elijah is pursuing a concentration in History and Literature with a citation in Spanish. Aside from his work in the IOP, Elijah is Founder and CEO of EJayyTalks, a lecture series he conducts in Compton high schools to inspire youth; he is a member of Harvard College Consulting Group where he consults for Fortune 500 companies. Finally, he is the Public Service Representative for Mather House where he plans house-wide, public-service-oriented events for Mather residents. With hopes of being a public servant, Elijah will never stop dreaming and will forever represent his family, his hometown, and his race with the upmost pride.
