Daniel Cabrera

Politics of Race & Ethnicity

My name is Daniel Cabrera, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2027) from a small town on the Oregon Coast called Bandon. I am currently living in Cabot House, studying both History & Literature and Government. This year, I'm honored to serve as Co-Chair of the Politics of Race and Ethnicity (PRE), which is a community dedicated to fostering dialogue with local leaders, politicians, activists, scholars, and organizations about the complex intersections of race, identity, politics, and policy.

Over the next year, I am looking forward to expanding PRE's partnerships with organizations in the Boston/Cambridge area and actively engaging our members in meaningful public service initiatives and enriching conversations. In addition to my role with PRE, I serve as a citizenship tutor with Citizenship Tutoring and previously held the position of Social and Community Lead on PRE's Steering Committee. I was also a member of the Campaign and Advocacy Program.

Beyond the IOP, I am proud to serve as Co-President of Fuerza Latina, a Peer Advising Fellow (PAF), and a member of the Harvard Noteables. In my free time, I enjoy running and performing in plays and musicals at Harvard.
