Cole Hahn
My name is Cole Hahn, and I am a junior (Class of 2027) from the suburbs outside Kansas City, living in Adams House and concentrating in Government with a secondary in History. I serve as the Director of Internal Affairs here at the Institute of Politics, where I focus on bringing structure, clarity, and follow-through to the IOP’s internal work in close partnership with the Executive Team.
In this role, I work closely with Exec and staff to support program chairs through blueprinting and execution, prepare Student Advisory Committee meetings with clear agendas and follow-ups, and ensure decisions, deadlines, and guest hospitality logistics are handled smoothly. I’m also focused on strengthening alumni engagement by building systems to reconnect alumni with current programming and helping prepare the IOP for its 60th anniversary. Previously, I served as Chair of the Campaigns & Advocacy Program.
Outside the IOP, I am a research assistant in the Government Department and a volunteer with the Phillips Brooks House Association. In my free time, I enjoy going to the movies, exploring Boston, and talking about my pets!
