Carly Ramos
My name is Carly Ramos, and I am a sophomore (Class of 2027) from Boston, MA in Pforzheimer studying Neuroscience and History of Science. I am the Co-Chair of The Citizenship Tutoring Program (Cit Tut), which guides employees from various Harvard Departments and the Greater Boston area through the citizenship application process, and aids with studying for components of the U.S. citizenship test.
Over the next year, I am looking forward to broadening Cit Tut's board, increasing Cit Tut's outreach to Boston communities and NGOs, and strengthen the organization's structure and optimize its operations to ensure our continued progress and success! Prior to my current role, I served as a tutor and Director of Internal Engagement for Citizenship Tutoring, and I also previously participated in CIVICs programming as a civics teacher.
Outside of the IOP, I serve as chair of public service for Harvard PRIMUS-FGLI Student Coalition, aid in advocacy and service initiatives with Harvard Women in Medicine, design workshops for the Health Fluency Project, and serve as an editor of the Crimson. In my free time, I enjoy powerlifting at Hemenway and trying out new cafes around Cambridge!
