Andrew Charroux
My name is Andrew, and I’m a junior (Class of 2024) from Los Angeles, California in Winthrop House studying Social Studies. I am currently the Co-Chair of the Policy Program, which produces policy reports for think tanks, government officials, and community organizations. Over the next year, I’m looking forward to expanding pathways to meaningful policy work for our researchers and ensuring that all students, regardless of their background, have a chance of succeeding in the program. Over the past few years, I’ve led multiple policy teams across criminal justice and economics within the Policy Program, worked for a year at the progressive donor and strategy hub Way to Win, led policy research for a 2022 U.S. Senate campaign, and worked on the research teams of both Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee and political research firm Jones Mandel. Outside of policy, I am a social studies Peer Concentration Advisor, involved in on-campus peer support groups, and work part-time at Blue Haven Initiative, an impact investing firm with a focus on strengthening democracy and advancing economic equity.
