My name is Amy Zhou, and I am a sophomore in Cabot House from Fishkill, New York although I lived for most of my life in Pullman, Washington. After spending most of my first year switching constantly between STEM and social science concentrations, I ultimately decided to pursue a joint concentration in Computer Science and Government. I am also super passionate about justice and hope to ultimately use technology to create positive social change in our society. Through my time in the IOP, I have been involved with the Harvard Political Union, the Policy Program, JFK Jr. Forum, Citizenship Tutoring, and the Campaigns and Advocacy Program. This year,I am super excited to be serving as the chair of Internships and Career Services to help more people find pathways into public service and politics. Outside of the IOP, I also serve as Co-President of Democracy Matters, Co-Marketing Manager of The Crimson Business Board, and as a board member of the Harvard Undergraduate Data Analytics group. In my free time, you’d probably find me swimming, watching crime and legal shows, or going down random Wikipedia rabbit holes.
