Allison McGourty

My name is Allison, and I am a Freshman (Class of 2029) from Scituate, MA in Thayer Hall studying Government. I am the Co-Director of Diversity and Engagement, which focuses on promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across the IOP. Over the next year, I plan on uplifting all voices here at the IOP, by working with different groups on campus and hosting the Our Narratives Showcases.

This past semester I participated in the Harvard Political Union and the Campaign and Advocacy Program, as while as being one of the speakers for the 2025 Fall Our Narratives Showcase. Outside of the IOP, I am a member of the Harvard College Democrats and a staffer for Harvard MUN. In my free time you can find me debating any topic under the sun, listening to 90s punk rock, or working in my sketchbook.
