Alfredo Hernandez

My name is Alfredo Hernandez, and I’m a sophomore (Class of 2028) living in Lowell House, from San Jose, California studying Social Studies. This year, I serve as one of the Directors of Diversity and Engagement at the Institute of Politics, where I focus on helping make the IOP a more welcoming space for students across campus. A big part of that work includes initiatives like Our Narratives and other inaugural efforts launching this year.

I also serve as Chair of the Fellows Search Committee within the IOP Fellows Program and, in a more partisan space, as President of the Harvard College Democrats.

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and spending my Sundays watching football.
