My name is Alayna Jenkins, and I am in the Class of 2023 studying Environmental Science & Public Policy and Government with a Spanish Citation. I am from the St. Louis, Missouri area and am thrilled to serve as the Community Action Committee Chair. I developed a passion for public service and politics through serving on the Board of Directors for Girls Scouts and interning for the Missouri Coalition for the Environment, and researching various clean energy/air initiatives. Furthemore, in my hometown, I work on several political campaigns and for several local advocacy groups. At the IOP, I am also a member of the JFK Jr. Forum and the Fellows and Study Groups Program. Outside of the IOP, I serve as REP at the Office for Sustainability and am working on several new sustainability projects with the college. I am also a member of the Crimson Key Society, Women in Law Association and serve on the Missouri Biodiversity Project's Board of Directors.
