Kimberly Peeples

Kimberly Peeples is Executive Director of the Institute of Politics (IOP) at Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Director of Administration and Finance, overseeing all financial management of the organization and supporting its strategic mission. Her responsibilities included managing IOP program budgets and other functional operations, overseeing all aspects of IOP programming, working alongside students to support and plan political based trips and events while implementing the overall strategy and goals of the Institute.

From 2011 to 2021, Kimberly worked in Grants Administration and Finance at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) at MIT. CSAIL, which pioneers research in computing and AI is a large interdisciplinary laboratory with an annual budget totaling more than $90 million.

At CSAIL, Kimberly was a key member of the management team, working with over a hundred faculty members to oversee sponsored programs and financial administration, including lab-wide accounts and project management.

Kimberly, a Boston native, has deep roots in the local community. She was born and raised in the area and remains actively involved in community service, particularly focusing on supporting and mentoring local youth.
