Jacob Watts

Jacob Watts is the Director of Programs and Events at the Institute of Politics, where he helps to lead the management and execution of the IOP's flagship programs and events. He brings more than fifteen years of experience directing high-profile political and academic events at the national and international level.

Prior to joining the IOP, Jacob served as Director of Events at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University, where he led the strategy, management, and execution of the Institute's portfolio of conferences, symposia, and social events.

Jacob began his career in public service with roles spanning the United States Senate, the Obama-Biden White House, both of President Obama's presidential campaigns and inaugurations, the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, and the Executive Office of Governor Deval Patrick.
