Brigid O'Rourke

Brigid joined the IOP in August of 2023. Previously she spent nine years at Harvard Public Affairs and Communications, where she was the Director of Communications and Outreach.  Prior to coming to Harvard, she was the Massachusetts Press Secretary for Senator John Kerry. Before moving to Massachusetts, she was the producer for CNN’s Inside Politics at the network’s global headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. 

She has a BA in Journalism from Ithaca College and an MA in Political Science from Georgia State University. She grew up in Connecticut, and currently lives in the Boston area with her husband and three daughters.
