Kelly Ayotte served as Attorney General of New Hampshire (2004-2009) before becoming a United States Senator (2011-2017) and this spring is an Institute of Politics Visiting Fellow. The IOP was thrilled to host the Senator days after she finished her role sheparding President Trump's first Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch through the Senate confirmation process. During her time as a joint Fellow at the IOP and Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Senator Ayotte spent her time meeting with students, speaking at the JFK Jr. Foum and engaging in a few Harvard traditions.
