The Director's Internship Program arranges paid summer internships for Harvard undergraduates interested in pursuing careers in politics or public service. This summer, the IOP is offering over 100 summer internships, in the U.S. and abroad. IOP Director's Interns are responsible for completing 8-10 weeks of work and receive a financial stipend of $4000 domestically.
Applications are currently being accepted for the following organizations: Congressman Juan Vargas, Congressman Mike Gallagher, Echelon Insights, Human Rights Watch, Impact Strategies, Mayor Peter Buttigieg, National Review, Prolepsis, Obama 44, Office of National Drug Control Policy, MassIT, and The Sunlight Foundation, and the U.S.Department of Justice.
Returning Harvard Undergraduates are eligible to apply for ONE internship on the current list of open Director's Internships. Even if students have applied to two Director's Internships in the previous round, they may still apply for one Director's Internship in this round. Previous Director's Interns are not eligible.
