Thaddeus Garrett Jr.
Thaddeus Garrett, Jr. served as a Senior Advisor to the Dole-Kemp Presidential Campaign and is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Howard University. Previously, Mr. Garrett served as a senior advisor in the Presidential Campaign of President George Bush and continued to serve as a Special Advisor to the President, and was Assistant to Vice President Bush. In 1977, he became Vice President of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and was previously appointed by the President to be Commissioner on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. Mr. Garrett was elected to the State Board of Education of Ohio and served seven years on the Board, resigning to become Commissioner on the Ohio Civil Rights Commission.
