Susan Molinari represents New York's 13th district and is the only Republican in the New York City delegation. Representative Molinari's the Republican Conference Vice Chair, is Chair of the Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Railroad and serves on the Budget Committee. In 1994, she was Chair of New York City's Commission on the Status of Women. Before being elected to Congress, Representative Molinari served as Minority Leader of the New York City Council.
