Susan B. King

Susan Bennett King is currently the Chairperson of the Consumer Product Safety Commission and Executive Assistant to the Vice Chairman of the Federal Election Commission. She previously served as the Founder, Vice President and Co-Director of the Center for Public Financing of Elections, a lobbying firm dedicated to reform of federal election laws. Ms. King was the Washington Director of the National Committee for an Effective Congress from 1967 to 1973, a legislative aide and assistant to Senator Thomas Dodd on the Judiciary Subcommittee on Juvenile Delinquency, and legislative and research assistant to the Administrative Office of the United States Courts.
