Stanley A. Karnow

Stanley Karnow is the China and Southeast Asia Correspondent for the Washington Post. He previously served as the Hong Kong Correspondent for the London Observer and Contributing Editor for the Far East for the Saturday Evening Post. Mr. Karnow worked for thirteen years for Time & Life magazines, first as a correspondent for Western Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, then Bureau Chief in North Africa, then Bureau Chief in the Far East before becoming a special correspondent in the Far East for Time Incorporated.
