"For me, this semester will be about learning from students and hoping they question the political assumptions that we take for granted."

Sarah Isgur Flores was most recently the Deputy Campaign Manager for Carly for President where she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the campaign, including the communications, policy, and digital teams. During her time with Carly, Sarah traveled to over 30 states and appeared on Fox, CNN, and MSNBC as the most visible surrogate for the campaign.

Sarah grew up in rural Texas where her family rehabilitated wildlife and spent vacations birding in Africa and South America. In a sharp departure from that unusual upbringing, Sarah went on to graduate from Northwestern University and Harvard Law School, where she was the President of the Harvard Federalist Society.

After law school, Sarah clerked for Judge Edith Jones of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and served as the political director for Texans for Ted Cruz and National Operations Day Advisor for Romney for President. Most recently, she was the Deputy Communications Director at the Republican National Committee.Since the campaign, Sarah has continued to travel with Carly Fiorina and the Ted Cruz campaign and frequently appears as an election analyst on cable news.
