Pierre Pelham is President pro tempore of the Alabama Senate and was national campaign coordinator for Governor Wallace. Mr. Pelham was a lieutenant in the Army, serving from 1951 to 1952, including a combat tour in Korea. He served as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention from Alabama's 1st Congressional District in 1960 and 1964.
