The guest speakers will be Harvard Law School Professor Charles Ogletree, the friend and mentor of President Barack and Michelle Obama; and former Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz, a famed criminal defense lawyer, who has also been described as "one of America's most distinguished defender's of individual rights."  The session will explore the role of the elected officials and the courts concerning issues of race, including desegregation and affirmative action, and protecting civil liberties while combating crime and terrorism.
