Lunch & Learn: Leadership Opportunities in the U.S. Military Services

Interested in exploring military service? Join the IOP and the Office of Career services Friday, October 7, at 12:30-1:30 PM to meet Kevin Mott, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, and a joint MPP/MBA candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School.  As a Marine, Kevin graduated first in his class at The Basic School and was selected for training as a Marine Infantry Officer, and completed his service with the rank of Captain. Kevin held leadership billets as a Platoon Commander, Company Executive Officer and Company Commander both in garrison and during a combat deployment to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Come to lunch and hear about Kevin's experience in the service and what you will learn serving your country. Also, find out more about the generous funding the military offers to support graduate and professional school training at places like Harvard Business School or the Kennedy School of Government, and the many ways to serve.
